IpBike is an application designed to transform your Android phone or tablet into a versatile bike computer, perfect for mounting on the handlebars of your bicycle. The app goes beyond cycling and is also suitable for tracking activities like running, skating, kayaking, and windsurfing.

This product is ANT+ certified, adhering to various ANT+ device profiles such as Bicycle speed, cadence, combined speed and cadence, power (including pedaling effectiveness and smoothness, cycling dynamics), and heart rate.

The app offers Bluetooth Smart support for heart rate, bike speed and cadence, running speed and cadence, bike power (excluding 2 pedal BLE meters), and Stryd Running power. Additionally, it utilizes a barometric pressure sensor to enhance altitude readings on compatible devices.

IpBike provides direct upload compatibility with several platforms such as StriveMax, Google Fit, VeloHero, Today's Plan, RunKeeper, Strava, and more. Users can also automate the process by exporting .gpx or .tcx files to platforms like Dropbox or Drive apps.

The main riding screens can be fully customized for color, size, and content with a wide range of statistics to choose from. Some of the available stats include 5s Avg. Power, Normalised Power, Total Ascent, Current rate of climb, Gearing, Battery level, and more.

The mapping support allows users to access online or offline maps using MapsForge .map files. Users can also upload route files in .fit, .gpx, or .kml format for navigation during rides. Real-time plotting of critical stats is available during rides or post-ride analysis.

IpBike enables users to design multi-step workouts based on time, distance, heart rate, or power parameters. It supports FIT workout file import/export and provides text-to-speech audio feedback with customizable settings.

The free version of IpBike has limitations on the number of wheel revolutions allowed. To remove this restriction, users can opt for the IpBikeKey app for unlimited access.

If your device encounters startup issues with IpBike, the common cause might be related to Google Maps setup. Alternatively, a Google Maps-free version is available on the release page for troubleshooting purposes.
